The core of our diamond ice press is crafted from premium EURAL aluminum imported from Italy. This specific food-grade alloy provides superior thermal conductivity and density (weighing between 4–4.5 kg / 8.5–10 lb), allowing the press to rapidly shape the ice using only its own weight and ambient temperature. How do you make an ice diamond?
Creating a perfect ice diamond takes less than a minute and requires no electricity.
1. Start with a solid, clear block of ice.
2. Place the oversized ice block onto the bottom mold of the press.
3. Align the top half of the press over the guide pins and release it.
4. The natural heat conductivity and heavy weight (4.5 kg) of the aluminum will smoothly melt the excess ice away.
5. Once the top part slides completely down, open the press and extract a perfectly faceted diamond, ready for a cocktail.
